History
FACPSST is a group of committed Haitian volunteers living in the United States, Canada and Haiti whose sole purpose is to support the charitable activities of the Little Sisters of Saint Theresa of the Child Jesus (PSST) and to contribute to the autonomy of their farm “Centre Agropastoral des PSST” in Fort-Liberté, in the North-East of Haiti. We assist and financially support the congregation in various charitable activities aimed at the well-being of vulnerable children and their families.
Founded in October 2023, FACPSST was recognized and registered on December 4, 2024 as a non-profit organization in the District of New York in the United States of America. Our mission, values and objectives are in perfect alignment with the Charism of the PSST, the religious congregation with which we are called to collaborate for a new Haiti. As a not-for-profit organization, all funds raised or received by FACPSST are totally dedicated to financing the social projects run by the PSST on the PSST “Centre Agropastoral” farm in Fort-Liberté. All board members are volunteers. We work to keep operating costs as low as possible (financial management, insurance and communication).
To improve the nutritional, educational and developmental conditions of Haiti's underprivileged children and their families through the “Petites Soeurs de Sainte Thérèse de l'Enfant-Jésus” Congregation, in partnership with internal and external support organizations.
